在赫伯格商学院, we value our transfer students and the diverse backgrounds they bring to our community. No matter where you transfer from and how far you have come in your educational journey, we are here to help you every step of the way! 

Please note that the transfer and residence policies below apply to 赫伯格商学院 students in the following programs: Accounting, 创业, 金融, 一般业务, 信息系统, 保险, 管理, 市场营销, 及房地产.

All transfer students seeking a business degree from St. 云州 must consult with an advisor in the 哈佛商学院咨询和学生成功中心, 百年纪念馆443, to determine their status in the 赫伯格商学院. The following special requirements apply to transfer students and transfer credits:

1. 转移 students will be given HBS Upper Division Status immediately provided (a) they have satisfied all the requirements of the Lower Business core, (b)转学GPA不低于2分.5.
2. All other transfer students will be eligible for HBS Upper Division Status when they (a) satisfy all the requirements of the Lower Business Core and (b) establish a St. 云州平均绩点至少2分.5. This GPA is calculated only from courses completed at St. 云州 and must be based on a minimum of 15 semester credits.  Lower Business Core courses may be taken as part of the 15 credit minimum. If a transfer student does not have enough lower level courses remaining to establish a St. 云州 GPA based on a minimum of 15 semester credits, the student’s cumulative GPA including St. 云州 and transfer credits can be used to meet the 2.5 GPA要求.
3. Courses where a “C- or better” was earned are eligible to transfer to St. 云州. If a course is part of a school’s Minnesota 转移 Curriculum, then a “D- or better” is accepted in transfer. Courses are still subject to minimum grade requirements according to the HBS curriculum.
4. Courses taken from non-baccalaureate degree granting institutions will not transfer to the HBS as an equivalent to a 300 or 400-level business course. 
5. In addition to the residence requirement discussed below, at least 50 percent of the credits in the student’s major and at least 50 percent of all business credits needed for the degree must be taken at St. 云州. Students pursuing a minor or certificate in the 赫伯格商学院 must also complete at least 50 percent of the credits at St. 云州. Courses can be transferred into the business core or the major only if a grade of “C-“ or higher was earned.
6. Validation of credits to be considered for transfer is performed by the 记录和注册办公室 consistent with HBS policies. 在必要时, transfer students will be required to provide course syllabi and/or other supporting documentation for review by the appropriate department(s).

注意: The 赫伯格商学院 does not accept transfer courses from Sophia Learning to fulfill program requirements.

To transfer courses from 明尼苏达州 Institutions, you can request an e-transcript. 

To transfer courses from non-明尼苏达州 Institutions, send your official transcript(s) to the 记录和注册办公室

For courses from a previous institution that did not transfer into St. 云州 as you expected, please login to eServices, click on "Academic Records", click on "转移 Review" and submit a request with your question. You will be instructed to attach additional documentation such as:

St. 云州 and the 赫伯格商学院 participate in the 明尼苏达州 转移 Pathway initiative. 明尼苏达州立转学途径 are designed so you can complete a specific associate degree at a 明尼苏达州 college and transfer to a 明尼苏达州 university to earn a bachelor’s degree without losing credits or taking extra courses.
